We respectfully request ASA send lawyers to this garrison town to help out, as opposed to just talking about helping in a legal way. Signs
and protests are nice, but lawyers and funding are what we need, now! So you all
know what's really happening in Bonnie's fiefdom, Lucia's arrest and prosecution had nothing to

won Lucia's case today. Bonnie lost. Lucia is the mexican lady arrested for herb we met outside the courthouse on 10-21-2009. If Bonnie Dumanis had reason suspect
this tiny elderly woman she should have sent two police women to inspect whether she had legal MMJ papers and check how much herb she
had. And then gently arrest her if they found sufficient reason. They
did not have to send a bunch of armed thugs with
a battering ram shoving her to the floor. This crime illustrates how satan rolls
in this town. Bonnie Dumanis is Beelzebub. What are you doing to stop her? Its not enough, do more. Get up, stand up for your

is medicine supposed to come from? According to the law, we can have it but..... In the confused state our citizens live in, some courts
have the nerve to say "you can't grow it here, nibmy"... the fact is some folks can't grow it themselves, regardless of the rules and
regulations imposed by backwards, unfeeling municipalities. How is a person lingering at deaths door supposed to get her medicine? From compassionate
folks, if they are so fortunate as to have them in their community. Safe Access, that's what we demand. We want it now. In Elsinore. In the whole state of California. Only through the efforts
of pioneers like Mother Earth Alternative Healing Cooperative, is this ever going to happen. The Fallbrook collective simply
won't let small minded nimbys (Not In My Back Yard) keep us from what is rightfully already ours, the right to safe access to our chosen medicine. The cooperative, which has a dispensary in Fallbrook, recently sought permission to
open a growing facility in Lake Elsinore, but was told NO

December 16, 2009 during a Regular Meeting of the Imperial Beach City Council, the council-members heard a "Moratorium Update Report" from the Imperial Beach City Attorney. They also
heard two ears full from me, Marcus Boyd. I am the ASA
member who brought the collective/cooperative storefront issue to the IB council last August. Imperial Beach is currently on the "county standard" 10-month moratorium, with NO "safe access" locations
available closer than downtown San Diego.
The IB City
Attorney and IB City Staff have not followed the IB City Council's clear requests to move forward with a MMJ ordinance for the City of IB. Instead, the city staff has only offered the same San Diego County prejudicial
"personal objections to the law" we have all heard from Dumanis' prohibitionists.
SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Now it seems the county prohibitionists have caused some of the Imperial Beach
City Council-members to FLIP/FLOP on the MMJ ordinance
approval. It appears by tonight's meeting that the IB city council, outside of public meetings, has changed their position and some are now all-of-a-sudden backing an outright ban in Imperial
Beach too. However, I have not given up the fight, and those who
know me know that's a problem for them.
Thanks to National
ASA, tonight I was able to provide the city council an ordinance proposal that adheres to the law and published appellate
case-law that allows for the existence of a safe access storefronts in Imperial Beach which
all means I will have the legal backing necessary to revisit this issue
in court if I don't get my way soon. Except this time they will be the defendant!

Nate Archer got a reprieve yesterday, as a result of So Cal NORML VP Mara Felsen stepping in and addressing
the judge. Not for any other reason. She gained him time to get his legal act together... the judge tried to jam it in the court calender
before Christmas. ASA 'reps' were there yet where were their "legal guns". Holstered. This is not a slam on ASA, or ASA SD. Its just a
fact. Nathaniel will be back in court for another round in OUR FIGHT, on January 26, 2010 at 9:00 am Dept. 12, for a
"continuance" of yesterdays session. Why wasn't any of this on the local news, or national news, last night? We looked for it,
as he was interviewed via TV cameras interviewed just after the farce ended for the day... because nobody but us herb heads seem to care.
Only the hardcore advocates do, it seems. Where is the moral outrage from medical cannabis patients, and their families? Where are the leaders of our
religious communities? Where are the dispensary 'owners'.. besides the few who show up from time to time? Where is the 'free press'? They let our DA run
